Deputies were outside a Tamarac home on Tuesday night, calling for someone to come out, after a woman was injured in a shooting and hospitalized.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, someone shot the woman on Northwest 74th Terrace and 82nd Street. Paramedics rushed her to the hospital, where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The sheriff's office didn't put out any information about the shooter, motive or an arrest. But throughout the night, deputies surrounded a home with their guns drawn, sent up a drone and kept calling for someone to come out.

Ana Menjivar, the owner of the home, wasn't there when the shooting happened. She said she rents out the back of her home to someone she doesn't know too well.
