Dominican had executed the game plan to near perfection through most of the three sets it played in a volleyball state championship rematch against Slidell.
But with the final-set lead trimmed to three points, coach Jessica Chatellier called a timeout so she could give her girls a quick reminder.
“They just needed to take a deep breath and stay in control and manage what they had done all match,” Chatellier said.
