Lawmakers met with families to talk about federal programs impacted by the Big Beautiful Bill that passed this summer in Meriden Tuesday evening.

Families shared concerns about cuts to SNAP and Medicaid with legislators at a town hall at the Augusta Curtis Cultural Center in Meriden. The meeting was organized by The Connecticut Project, a nonprofit that works to improve the lives of working families.
