GREELEY, Colo. (KDVR) — There is still controversy brewing over the over $1.1 billion project taking place northeast of the metro.
Greeley is set to pay $832 million of that to become the new home of the Colorado Eagles, among other amenities planned for the entertainment district.
“This is a project that is going to change the city, is going to have a profound impact in northern Colorado and across Colorado because of what it brings with the Colorado Eagles, a beautiful hotel and a tremendous water park. It is going to have a huge impact in the city,” said managing director for the city of Greeley, Paul Trombino.
