Distt admin Kupwara extends immediate relief to fire-affected families in Punzwa Villgam

Kupwara | : District administration Kupwara Tuesday provided an immediate relief to families affected in unfortunate fire incident in Punzwa Villgam causing damage to four residential houses last night.

On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Suse, a team led by Tehsildar Villgam, visited the spot and distributed interim monetary relief among five affected families along with kitchen sets, tarpaulins, blankets, and one month’s advance ration.

Expressing sympathy with the fire victims, Deputy Commissioner assured full support from the administration, and directed assessment of property loss for sanction of relief under SDRF norms on immediate basis.

He also appealed to the general public to observe safety precautions in order to avoid fire incidents.
