BEMIDJI – Wins look different for different teams.

For some, it’s the margin of victory that counts. Blowout triumphs become the standard for a team destined for greater things. For others, it’s little wins within the game that are leaned on more heavily.

The Bemidji High School volleyball team falls in the latter half of the aforementioned victory spectrum. But the Lumberjacks, who entered Tuesday’s match against Pine River-Backus 0-11, took a step forward in a 3-1 loss at the BHS Gymnasium.
