Hyderabad: Panic gripped residents of Rajendranagar after locals discovered the body of an unidentified man lying in a pool of blood near the service road off the Bengaluru National Highway on Wednesday.

The body was found dumped close to the Agricultural University.

Preliminary investigation suggests that the victim’s throat was slit with a sharp weapon, indicating a brutal attack.

Officers suspect that the murder may have been committed elsewhere and the body later dumped at the location. Forensic and Clues Team personnel were called to the scene
