A boy was killed and three others were hospitalized after a shooting in Riverside County.
On Sept. 23, Hemet police responded to a shooting on the 400 block of Steiner Drive shortly before 2 a.m.
Officers arrived at the scene, but didn’t locate any victims. Police were later told that two victims with gunshot wounds had arrived at the Hemet Global Medical Center with critical injuries. They were transferred to a trauma center.
Police also located a vehicle on its way to the hospital that was carrying two additional injured victims. Inside the car, a boy was found dead with gunshot wounds. The other victim was taken to a nearby trauma center.
The events leading up to the deadly shooting remain unclear. No arrests have been made and no suspect descriptions were provided.
Police have not
