TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - In the last decade, the town of Marana has continued to expand, and it’s looking to grow even more.

From road construction projects to the possibility of data centers, the town said it is trying to be proactive and transparent with residents.

Leaders have planned community meetings to help inform people of the role the town plays in development, what to expect if RTA Next is passed , and an ordinance that was passed in December 2024 regarding data centers.

Marana Communication Manager Vic Hathaway explained how much the town has expanded in recent years.
