Fierce women’s rights activist and advisor of Naga Mothers Association, Rosemary Dzuvichu has received a death threat on social media.
According to Dzuvichu it was a warning to young and old feminists who have stood for women’s reservation. Taking to social media the NMA advisor said that she has lived and stood through many death threats in her life during the years of struggle for holding the long overdue Municipal elections in Nagaland and reservation of seats for women. She added that the Municipal elections have been held, and more than a hundred women now sit in the Urban local bodies in the state through their constitutional rgihts and the ruling of the Supreme Court.
