SEATTLE — With the Seattle Mariners locking up a postseason berth Tuesday night, fans now have their chance to buy tickets for just the second playoff run in more than 20 years.

Season ticket holders will get the first shot at the limited supply. The general public can access a presale beginning just before midnight Wednesday by signing up for Mariners Mail or enrolling in text alerts at 24247. That presale covers Wild Card and American League Division Series (ALDS) single-game tickets.

Any remaining tickets go on sale Thursday.

The Mariners could still avoid the Wild Card round altogether, depending on whether they secure the American League’s No. 2 seed. For now, the team says money paid toward unplayed games will be refunded within 30 days of the postseason’s end. Tickets purchased
