Mumbai ’s metro network is gradually taking shape with the partial opening of five new lines this year end or the start of 2026. Under this, metro lines 2B, 3, 4A, 6 and 9 are being developed across the city’s eastern suburbs.

The state government is speeding up construction on all metro projects. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated earlier this year that the goal is to complete all metro work in the Mumbai Metro politan Region by 2027.

Route: Mandale to Diamond Garden [5 of the total 20 stations]
