MIDDLETOWN — It’s abundantly clear Steel Bayer passed the torch to Brogan Barlup upon his graduation from East Pennsboro boys soccer to West Virginia.
That torch — from one Mid-Penn Conference scoring leader to the next — burned brightly in the 12th minute on Tuesday. Barlup delivered a header on a corner kick directly into the top left of the net to ignite a 2-0 road win over Middletown, adding a penalty kick goal later in the game.
