In a tragic incident, 73-year-old actor Amresh Mahajan collapsed on stage while performing at the Ramlila in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh . Mahajan, who was playing King Dashrath, suffered a cardiac arrest and was rushed to Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru Government Medical College, where he was declared dead. He had been performing at this event for nearly 40 years and had recently announced it would be his last show.
