Surat: After seven years since its announcement, the ambitious Surat Outer Ring Road project is finally set to enter Phase-2. Designed to ease the city’s growing traffic problems, the project aims to ensure smooth intra-city travel and seamless connectivity with national highways.

The first phase of the project faced repeated delays due to financial and administrative challenges, as well as issues with contractors. After being stalled for years, the project has now overcome these obstacles and resumed steady progress.
