Alexander Madsen is a new player of Karditsa Iaponiki, the team announced on Monday.

Bouncing back in the Basketball Champions League, the 30-year-old big will play in Group G of the Regular Season, opposite back-to-back defending champion Unicaja , lasting original Filou Oostende, and fellow newcomer Mersin Spor. Fresh out of furthering his international career with Finland in EuroBasket 2025 with 1.8 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest, he will add to his BCL tally of 44 appearances, spread between four years with VEF Riga and one with AEK. Last season with Hiopos Leida in Spain’s Liga Endesa, Madsen went for 3.5 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.
