The choice for Snoop Dogg to perform as the AFL grand final entertainment has been met with mixed reactions, with some sceptics unsure if he can captivate an Aussie crowd.

The American rapper has taken to the biggest sporting stage before, performing at the Super Bowl in 2022 alongside some of raps biggest names, but now he is taking on the task of the grand final by himself.

The 53-year-old Californian has big shoes to fill with a number of artists producing memorable grand final performances in the past, be it for the right or wrong reasons.
