COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife is stocking Lake Milton with predatory game fish to boost fishing opportunities. This fall, 20,000 muskellunge, or muskies, ranging from 10 to 12 inches long, will be introduced into nine inland lakes across the state.
Raised at state fish hatcheries in Kincaid and London, muskies are a species that grow quickly, creating future fishing prospects. In addition to being stocked in reservoirs like Lake Milton, muskies can also be found in river systems, such as the Mahoning River.
