GREENVILLE, S.C. —

High temperatures will be near 90 degrees in the Upstate on Wednesday.

Scattered to numerous showers and storms are likely Thursday and Friday, especially Thursday afternoon and evening. Damaging wind and localized flash flooding are possible. The area could see up to an inch of rain. High temperatures will be in the low 80s in the Upstate, and the mid to upper 70s in the mountains.

The cold front is forecast to clear the region by early Friday as storm chances linger into the weekend.
