Xerox has named Darren Cassidy chief marketing officer (CMO), following the departure of its longtime chief growth officer Deena LaMarque Piquion.

Cassidy currently serves as president of Western Europe for the print and workplace tech brand. He has worked there since 1990 in various roles, carving out a track record in digital services, IT, and marketing.

The appointment comes as Xerox’s top marketer, LaMarque Piquion, leaves after six years with the business.

During her tenure, LaMarque Piquion led the brand’s transformation from a legacy print brand to a modern workplace-tech and services provider through campaigns like “We Make Work, Work.”
