God of War fans are getting themselves worked up about tonight’s big presentation, because they believe that the long-rumoured spin-off game may finally be making an appearance.

Even though it’s only been three years since Santa Monica Studio dropped the last God of War game, which is less than the time between God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarök, PlayStation fans are still restlessly waiting for a new entry in the franchise.

Following Sony’s announcement that a new 35-minute-long State of Play is going to be held at 10 PM (UK time) tonight, fans are, naturally, whipping themselves into a frenzy regarding a possible God of War-shaped announcement.

However, unlike Bloodborne fans (apologies in advance for the friendly fire), God of War fans have a pretty good basis for their hype.
