A police car in Glasgow was rammed by a stolen Land Rover before the suspect fled the scene. ‌

Officers are now hunting the driver, who struck the police vehicle in Easterhouse on Friday, September 19, before fleeing on foot. The Land Rover had earlier been reported stolen from Ayrshire. ‌

While carrying out searches in the area, officers also recovered two further stolen cars displaying cloned plates. ‌

Police Scotland said it had been another busy 24 hours tackling road crime in Glasgow, with several drink and drug drivers arrested, 11 cars seized for being driven without a licence or insurance, and a number of stolen vehicles pursued.
