Hamilton has a new HomeSense.

The new store , located in the Heritage Greene Shopping Centre in Stoney Creek, officially opened on Monday, the first day of fall, TJX Canada announced in a media release.

“We’re excited to grow our presence in Hamilton with the new Heritage Greene location,” said Parul Bharadia, brand manager for HomeSense, in a statement.

The new store, spanning nearly 20,000 square feet, opened in the former home of Bed Bath and Beyond and the short-lived Rooms and Spaces in the shopping centre.

Heritage Greene Shopping Centre features Indigo, Home Depot, Best Buy, Michaels, Pro Hockey Life and Dark Horse Espresso Bar.

HomeSense has two other stores in the city — one in Ancaster and the other at Eastgate Square Mall. The new store is located at 1783 Stone Church Rd.
