Police are searching for a 17-year-old who went missing last week, according to a statement from the Monroe Township Police Department in Gloucester County.

Franklin Sperling was reported missing on Sept. 14, but police did not say where he was last seen.

Sperling has ties to the South Jersey and Trenton area and his whereabouts as of Tuesday afternoon were unknown, police said.
