Ranveer Allahbadia has been slowly making his return to content creation after a period of public backlash and legal trouble following his inappropriate comments made on the show India’s Got Latent. In a recent podcast with Amrita Rao, Ranveer revealed that choreographer Shiamak Davar sort of predicted his downfall after their meeting in 2024. Ranveer said Shiamak told him that there was an evil eye curse upon him.

Ranveer Allahbadia said, “Shiamak Davar said that to me once. He saw me and said you have a lot of nazar (evil eye) around you… It was my first time meeting him. He looked at me very intensely and with a lot of pity. It was a great phase of life for me, so I asked him, ‘Why are you looking at me with pity?’"
