Mangaluru, Sep 24: Minister Priyank Kharge strongly criticised the BJP for allegedly politicising issues and questioned why the opposition party was not being held accountable for its actions.

Speaking to reporters, Kharge said, “We cannot simply do whatever we like; there are rules and regulations. When it comes to our work, you question us. Why are you not asking BJP about these matters?”

He recalled that BJP leaders had organised the “Dharmasthala Chalo” programme, but questioned the intent behind it. “On stage they speak about Dharmasthala, and later in the evening they go to Sowjanya’s house. The BJP candidate himself declared in front of everyone that he would be the backbone of sowjanya if the matter went to the Supreme Court,” he alleged.
