John McGlynn hailed his Falkirk side after they fought back from two goals down to draw with Hibernian on Tuesday night.

The Bairns boss said he was “very proud” of his team as they climbed from 10th to eighth in the Premiership after an entertaining 2-2 draw.

A Martin Boyle penalty and a strike from Jamie McGrath gave David Gray’s side a commanding 2-0 lead in the first half at the Falkirk Stadium.

But Ross MacIver got the home side back into it with an injury-time goal just before half-time, and Liam Henderson completed the comeback just after the hour mark.

Falkirk, who are back in the top-flight for the first time in 16-years after back-to-back promotions, might even feel as if they could have taken all three points as they pushed for a winner at the end.
