In a scathing attack on the Election Commission of India (ECI), Congress leader Rahul Gandhi questioned its timing to address the issue he raised. He said it not only points to the poll panel’s inaction but also potential collusion in the irregularities in voter lists.
In a post on the social media platform X, Gandhi, who is also the leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, questioned; “Gyanesh ji, we caught the theft and only then did you remember to put a lock – now we’ll catch the thieves too. So tell us, when are you going to give the evidence to CID?”
