A new chapter in rural sustainability began today in Tripura with the inauguration of Project Parivesh: Replication of Biovillage 2.0 at Behalabari Community Hall, Khowai District. The initiative, conceptualized and implemented by the Directorate of Biotechnology, Government of Tripura, aims to replicate the success of Biovillage 2.0 by promoting clean energy solutions, sustainable farming practices, and eco-friendly livelihood opportunities.
The project has been recognized as part of NITI Aayog’s Best Practices 2025, and is being implemented with the support of Ashray Foundation as the implementing partner under the CSR program of Canara HSBC Life Insurance.
