The Chester High School library opened to a whole new look last week after city-based Power Home Remodeling poured employees and funds into the project.

“This space is proof of the good that can happen when we choose to open our ears to the needs of our communities and give where we live,” James Myers, director of community impact at Power Home Remodeling, said at the celebration.

The Chester community was enthusiastic and appreciative.

“On behalf of the Chester High student body, we would like to thank you all for renovating our school library,” Sakai Miller of the Chester High School student government, said. “This project is proof that you believe in our potential, see in our greatness.”
