KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Officials with the Knoxville Police Department are asking for help finding an attempted murder suspect.

Officers were called to a report of shots fired at the McDonald’s location at 5055 N. Broadway in North Knoxville just after 8:00 p.m.

Scott Erland with KPD said that 18-year-old Key’Len Cherry is now wanted for attempted first-degree murder after the shooting.

Erland said that Cherry and another man got into a fight while working at McDonald’s. Cherry pulled a handgun and fired at the victim multiple times.

Nobody was injured by the gunfire and Cherry left the scene before officers arrived. KPD is asking for help finding him, Erland said.
