STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — An SUV crashed and flipped over in Bay Terrace during the Wednesday morning rush hour.
The NYPD and the FDNY responded to the crash on Durant Avenue near Kelvin Avenue.
A white Jeep Cherokee appeared to be badly damaged in the crash. A large piece of the front windshield was propped up against the side of the vehicle.
A maroon GMC pickup truck at the scene was dented on its rear driver’s side.
A person who lives in the neighborhood pulled a child out of the back of the vehicle.
