$5,000 reward offered in Seymour arson case

SEYMOUR, Ind. – Investigators in Seymour are offering a $5,000 reward for information about a recent arson case.

Around 4:10 a.m. on Sept. 18, the Seymour Fire Department was dispatched to a home on West Oak Street.

Firefighters encountered heavy smoke and fire upon arrival. Further investigation in conjunction with the Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office determined the fire was “incendiary” in nature. Investigators classified it as arson.
