Bangkok sinkhole video: A busy road in Bangkok collapsed on Wednesday morning, forming a huge sinkhole that caused major traffic disruption and damage to nearby infrastructure. The sudden incident also led to emergency evacuations of residents and hospital services being suspended.
The sinkhole, which opened on Samsen Road in Dusit District, measured around 30 metres wide (98 feet) and 50 metres deep (160 feet). The dramatic collapse pulled down vehicles, electricity poles, and water pipes, leaving the road completely severed.
