DALLAS — The main lanes of I-35E have reopened in Dallas Wednesday morning, but a service road remains closed as police respond to a shooting at a Dallas ICE facility off the highway.

Part of I-35E was closed in both directions for part of Wednesday morning, but the main lanes reopened as of shortly before 9 a.m.

The I-35E southbound service road at Mockingbird Lane in Dallas remains closed.

Police responded to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office at 8101 N. Stemmons Freeway in Dallas, off Interstate 35E, around 7 a.m. Wednesday. Police sources told WFAA that two ICE detainees were killed and a third person was wounded in the shooting. One shooter is reported dead, police sources say.

Drivers can take Texas 354 to avoid the affected portion of I-35.
