Karnataka High Court on Wednesday dismissed Elon Musk's company X’s petition against the central government. Justice M. Nagaprasanna said that regulating social media content is very important, especially in cases related to crimes against women. He stated:
Freedom of expression (Article 19) is a right of citizens, but it is subject to certain restrictions. Laws and judgments of the United States cannot be directly applied to the Indian Constitution.
