GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A portion of Highway 431 is shut down after a crash that happened in Guntersville on Wednesday.

Guntersville Police told News 19 that the crash happened in front of the Circle K gas station at the intersection of US Highway 431 and Buck Island Drive.

GPD said that one lane of traffic on US Highway 431 is open as of 7:45 a.m.

Emergency personnel are on the scene and are conducting further investigation and cleanup.

Drivers should expect delays in the area.
