Synopsis: A 22-year-old tribal farmer from Telangana’s Nalgonda district has alleged severe police assault and caste-based abuse after protesting delays in urea supply. His wife lodged a formal complaint with the Telangana Commission for Scheduled Castes and Tribes, alleging that a sub-inspector and two constables beat him with a lathi, leaving him unable to walk, and threatened him not to reveal the assault.
