Special Investigation Team (SIT) Formed in Assam to Probe Zubeen Garg Death Case : In the case of the untimely death of Assamese singer Zubeen Garg, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) comprising senior officers of the Assam Police will now investigate the matter.

On Wednesday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that he had instructed the Director General of Police (DGP) to constitute a Special Investigation Team with the best officers of the Assam Police to probe the case.
