Emmerdale's Georgia Jay teased "the wait is almost over" as she makes her return to ITV in new drama The Hack.

The actress made her Emmerdale debut last year as Steph Miligan, the daughter of Ruby and Caleb. She arrived in the village alongside her grandfather Anthony Fox, unaware of his troubling past.

It was then that fans learned why Ruby was struggling so much, as flashbacks showed that Anthony had sexually abused her repeatedly when she was a teenager.

The nightmare continued to worsen, however, when a DNA test revealed that Steph was the biological daughter of Anthony.

Anthony was then killed by Ruby following Aaron Dingle brutally attacking him at the depot after being reminded of his own abusive father.
