THE Philadelphia Eagles have signed a player who has been cut twice in the still-young 2025 season.

New York Jets and New York Giants fans should be familiar with the Eagles' new addition.

On Monday, the Eagles announced that the team claimed wide receiver Xavier Gipson off waivers.

The Giants recently cut Gipson, as he spent just nine days with the club.

The 24-year-old didn't play a game with Big Blue.

Big Blue claimed Gipson off waivers from the Jets on September 11.

Gipson is now with his third team this season after his time ended with the Jets due to a brutal fumble in the Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers .

The Eagles have added Gipson after they had issues on kickoffs during their Week 3 win over the Los Angeles Rams.

Tank Bigsby struggled with two punt returns.
