Bhubaneswar : Indian Railways has announced the services of Amrit Bharat Express between Brahmapur and Surat (Udhna) connecting Odisha to Gujarat, linking multiple key districts across multiple states, including Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
These new train services will boost the economic and industrial mobility by connecting mineral, textile and trade hubs, supporting business and workforce movement.
The inaugural train will be flagged off from Brahmapur railway station by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, through video conferencing from Jharsuguda on September 27. The train will run via Vizianagaram – Rayagada-Titlagarh – Raipur – Nagpur – Bhusaval, connecting major towns and cities.
