On Sunday, Sept. 28, athlete and content creator Liam Hamlin from Blind River will run 100 kilometres around Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in honour of his father, recently diagnosed with cancer.
This ultra-distance effort aims to raise more than $20,000 for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, one of the world’s leading cancer research and treatment institutions.

Hamlin, who obtained a science degree from Laurentian University, has spent the past year tying many of his athletic pursuits to cancer fundraising. He said he has raised thousands of dollars through campaigns and by running the 2024 New York City Marathon with Fred’s Team. But this challenge hits closer to home.
