TOOMBS COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — A Toombs County man has been sentenced to a year in prison after failing to report over $200,000 in income.

Jonathan Mann, 39, of Vidalia, pled guilty in April to filing a false tax-related document in 2018. Mann had failed to report $266,048 in income received by his construction business between 2017 and 2019.

In September, Mann was sentenced to 12 months of imprisonment, followed by a year of supervised release.

He was also ordered to pay $84,638 in restitution for the amount of tax he owed.
