Two 'aggressive' burglarstargeted properties in Sheerness and threatened one resident in a bedroom. David Hansen and Ryan Kiely pleaded guilty to multiple offences at Maidstone Crown Court.

Kent Police was alerted to an incident in Southsea Avenue, Minster on Sea, on February 20, 2025. Residents had returned to their address to find it had been broken into.

Hansen was the culprit for the crime, where he stole jewellery, documents and car keys – as well as a van that was parked outside. On February 27, a similar report was received in relation to a dwelling in Fleetwood Close.
