COLUMBIA, Miss. (WDAM) - Three teens are under arrest, with one still at large, after stealing firearms from a Columbia sporting goods store.

Columbia police arrest 2 juveniles, seek 2 others in sporting goods’ firearms burglary

The Columbia Police Department said the burglary occurred around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at Waldo’s Sport Center. That same day, officers arrested two teenagers in connection with the crime and recovered one of the stolen firearms.

Officers later arrested a third teenager on Monday, Sept. 22. They also recovered a second firearm on Tuesday, Sept. 23.

The teenagers were 15, 17, and 17 years old at the time of the burglary. According to investigators, none of the boys are from the Columbia area. They are from Hattiesburg, Forrest County and Perry County.
