A Minneapolis man has been arrested and charged in connection with a mass shooting that left one person dead and six others injured in late August near Cristo Rey Jesuit High School.

Trayveion Alvin Green, 24, faces one count of second-degree murder and six counts of attempted second-degree murder. He had a warrant out for his arrest and was taken into custody Monday around 10:45 p.m. when officers located him in downtown Minneapolis near Target Center, according to Minneapolis PD.

Gregory Sweeten, 35, was shot in the head when Green allegedly opened fire just before 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at a group of people standing on a sidewalk near the intersection of Clinton Avenue and East 29th Street in the Phillips neighborhood. Sweeten died at the scene.
