Minneapolis police announced Tuesday that they’ve arrested the suspected gunman in an August shooting that left one person dead and six injured.

Police said they arrested 24-year-old Trayveion Alvin Green on Monday night. He's charged with seven felonies, including second-degree murder and attempted murder.

The midday shooting on Aug. 26 happened outside of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, near Clinton Avenue and 29th Avenue South.

The criminal complaint alleges Green stepped out of a car with a rifle and fired more than two dozen shots at a group of people on the sidewalk. 35-year-old Gregory Sweeten died from his injuries.

The criminal complaint does not outline a possible motive. Green made an initial court appearance on Tuesday, where bail was set at $2 million. He remains in the Hen
