A man who suffered multiple head injuries and stab wounds to his arm and leg during a dispute over money is 'lucky to be alive', according to police. The victim was attacked by Liam Jones, 28, while they were at a house party in Cornwall Gardens, Canterbury .
They had both been socialising with friends at the property during the evening of May 29 this year, when Jones demanded the victim hand over money he was owed. The victim explained he could not give him the money at that time.
Jones then picked up two knives and stabbed the victim four times before also punching him in the head multiple times. He refused to let the victim leave but after a while the victim managed to get out and made his way to a nearby shop where ambulance crews were called.
