Ollie's Bargain Outlet opening first store in El Paso with deals

Ollie's Bargain Outlet, a retailer of closeout merchandise, will open its first store in El Paso on Wednesday, Sept. 24.

The store is opening at a former Big Lots store, at 1590 George Dieter Drive.

The store will open at 9 a.m. with giveaways and discounts.

The store is known for selling closeouts, overstocks and manufacturer-refurbished goods. It offers well-known brands at 70% off in various departments, including housewares, flooring, food, cookware, toys, games and electronics.

The store offers a free loyalty program, Ollie's Army, that rewards members with points for every dollar spent.
